Cupcake Truffle Kit
Classy Girl cupcake truffles are like cake pops without a stick- fresh baked cake blended with buttercream frosting, rolled into a ball, dipped in chocolate with sprinkles on top. Now you can roll and dip your own truffles at home, no baking required! We’ve included everything you need to make 12-15 truffles without leaving your home for a trip to the grocery store. Each kit includes:
- Two 16oz containers of fresh scratch made truffle batter, choose from chocolate, confetti, red velvet, lemon, or almond
- Two 8oz containers of melting chocolate wafers
- Two 2oz containers of sprinkles, choose from jimmies or sugar sprinkles in many colors
Directions: Let batter warm up to room temperature, scoop with small ice cream scoop or spoon, roll into balls with clean hands, place on cookie sheet covered with wax paper or parchment. Chill in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Remove lid from melting chocolate container, microwave uncovered for 15-20 second intervals stirring in between until chocolate is smooth (tip- if chocolate seems thick, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil and stir). Submerge cake ball in melted chocolate, remove using 2 forks, return to cookie sheet, add sprinkles.
Storage: Store dipped truffles in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days, or refrigerated for 5-7 days.
